Our 2025 Children’s Programme will be listed late February to March 2025. Please see our 2024 programme as an example of what you might expect next year!!!

Friday 12th July

We are thrilled this year to be bringing your a host of new things for the children to experience, including not just one, but two amazing afternoon interactive shows with the fantastic Adventure Team! There will be wand making, fairy and dragon wing making, crafting, drumming, storytelling, a chance for a short performance, a crystal workshop and more! Children under 15 don’t pay to come in and the activities are FREE!!!! How exciting!

Lucy, The Shamanic Parent, will be with us for the first time at The Healing Weekend, although we met her at Lighthouse where she ran our amazing children’s sessions for us. Welcome Lucy!

Allow your child to be taken on an imaginative journey with the Star Dragons and their friends. The story uses imagination and breathing techniques to allow your child's brain and body to dump any excess adrenalin and to refill with oxygen which in turn relaxes and calms your child's mind and body. It allows their brain to process unwanted and uncomfortable emotions whilst the Star Dragons protect your child from nightmares, worries and anxieties.

Saturday 13th July

Day two and we are all looking forward to seeing lots of children now the weekend is here and school is out!!! We start the day’s session at 10.30am.

Enjoy another positive and self esteem building story session.

I often chat to children about crystals. Some things children ask are things like: “where do they come from? How did you get them?”. They seem to be very interested in knowing how these beauties are made. I often talk to them about how they start as a liquid soup of many minerals, and how as those minerals get cold or hard under pressure they become crystals. They can learn about the reason why some are orange, pink or blue, according to what minerals were in the soup that made them. I often talk about it as making a soup, and depends on what you put in it, you get a different result. I will bring various mineral to illustrate and show the children, so that they can pass them around and a get a feel of what they are like rough out of the earth. I find kids are not so bothered about “crystal properties”, they like them because they are beautiful and they feel very drawn to their energy.

Come dressed as a Pirate or Mermaid if you like!!!!! You can even make a hat ready for the adventure with Amber at 1pm.
Ahoy me hearties! This is NOT your bog standard pirate party...
Batten down the hatches, pull up the anchor and prepare to set sail on the high seas with the saltiest sea dog of them all, Pirate Pearl/ Pete.
Now Pirate Pearl/Pete isn’t your typical Pirate. They keep getting lost at sea, suffer from sea-sickness and has a Chicken instead of a Parrot…
Help Pirate Pearl/ Pete (they are going to need it) set off on an adventure to rescue back the stolen treasure from their nemesis, Pirate Pink Beard.

On the adventure you will:

• Become part of the Pirate crew. Yes! You’ll be scrubbing the decks!

• Help find Pirate/Pearl/Pete’s stolen treasure

• A Tug of war battle with Pink Beard

• Catch a giant rat onboard.

• Swim for your lives! SHARKS!

• Be introduced to Roxy the mermaid and dreadful singing!

Since the early days, The Adventure Team has grown into a wonderful team of 15 adventurers. We have a strict hiring policy, and our team is the perfect blend of super talented actors and actresses who have mastered their crowd control skills and love children!

Sunday 14th July

Lucy will introduce the children to gentle movement and mindfulness practice to begin the day!

An inspiring session where the children get to create some shakers and drums, before enjoying a fun call and response session with Rose. They may even work together to put a short performance together which will give them a chance to take centre stage in the performance marquee as we head toward the closing ceremony!!!

Learn all about how Dreamcatchers help us filter all the lovely thoughts we wish to have, and catch all of those, just like a spider’s web, that we don’t want. Fabulous for bedtime routines and reinforcement of positive thoughts and feelings. Amber is our Children’s Area manager. She works in childcare and has a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as a great sense of fun - just perfect for for all our younger visitors.

Can you trumpet like an Elephant, gibber like a Monkey or laugh like a Hyena? Can you stand the heat, creepy crawlies and being chased by some rather large safari animals, that would like to eat you for dinner?  If you can, then this is the adventure for you.
Jungle Jim / Jane is an Australian bushman-woman whose job it is to help animals that are in trouble.  Which is just as well, as word has just reached them that a very rare “WahWah” bird needs their help.
Roderick Bottom, an English hunter, is keen to add the rare bird to his collection of stuffed animals.
Help Jungle Jim/ Jane as they head off to Africa to save this special bird before it’s too late!

On the adventure you will:

• Raft down rapids whilst avoiding the jaws of crocodiles

• Track Sidney the Gorilla and help her find her stolen baby.

• Help save Zoe the Zebra from being eaten by a Lion

• Throw coconuts at the evil hunter Roderick Bottom

• Track down the elusive WahWah bird without being bitten by snakes!
